AhlulBayt News Agency: The Donald Trump Institute for Peace in Washington hosted a prominent diplomatic gathering, where Arab ambassadors—including Saudi Ambassador Reema bint Bandar Al Saud and UAE ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba—participated in a traditional “Shabbat dinner.”

The event was hosted by Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, Trump’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism.

According to media reports, the gathering included senior U.S. administration officials and focused on regional peace discussions.

Kaploun noted that the Saudi ambassador emphasized the “importance of normalization” as a matter of personal significance to her, expressing regret over the disruption of efforts that were underway prior to the events of October 7th.

During the event, the Saudi ambassador highlighted that “leadership requires courage” and stressed the need to strive toward a “culture of mutual respect.”

The gathering aimed to provide international diplomats with a deeper understanding of Jewish traditions and their cultural significance.
